Yakov Smirnoff

Yakov Smirnoff began his career at the comedy store with Billy Crystal, Jerry Seinfeild, and Robin Williams and rose to be one of the Nation’s most entertaining comedians. He has starred in several movies including, “Moscow on the Hudson, “Brewsters Millions” “The Money Pit” and “Heartburn”. Yakov was President Reagan’s speech writer and brokered the dialog between Reagan and Gorbachev during the fall of the cold war. He played a pivitol role in the relationship between the two leaders. He wrote several books, created the mural for the 9/11 memorial and had his own Broadway show for 6 months, titled, “Yakov. Live on Broadway”. He now has a 2000 seat theater in Branson Missouri. He is looking for his soul mate and has done a lot of research on the topic of love and laughter.
